New Year, New Shoes!

As we head into 2026, Track Shack is starting the year at full speed with a wave of exciting new shoe drops. January is packed with fresh updates, all-new models, and race-ready innovations built to power your best miles yet.

January 1

We’re starting strong with three new shoes releasing on January 1st. Two are from Mizuno: the Wave Inspire 22 and the Hyperwarp Elite. The Mizuno Wave Inspire is a tried-and-true stability shoe within the running community, providing medial arch support through Mizuno’s iconic Wave technology. The Hyperwarp Elite is a brand-new racing shoe, featuring responsive, lightweight Energy XP foam and a 3D carbon fiber plate that promotes a smoother, more efficient ride. Rounding out the January 1st releases is Saucony’s Ride 19. This update adds more PWRRUN+ to the midsole, decreasing weight while increasing responsiveness.

January 9

The following week, two more shoes release on January 9th: the ASICS Gel-Nimbus 28 and the Puma Deviate 4. The ASICS Gel-Nimbus 28 is significantly lighter while still delivering its iconic plush, maximum-cushion midsole. The Puma Deviate 4 features a lighter, more responsive midsole and an evolved PWRPLATE to provide a supportive, consistent ride.

January 15

Just a few days later, on January 15th, New Balance is releasing the 1080 v15. This version introduces all-new cushioning, making the shoe both lighter and softer.

Carbon-Plate Releases

Rounding out our January shoe releases are the Puma FAST-R Nitro Elite 3 on January 23rd and the Hoka Cielo X1 3.0 on January 29th—both carbon-plated racing shoes. The FAST-R Nitro Elite 3 features improved nitrogen-infused foam and a carbon PWRPLATE for powerful propulsion. The latest version of Hoka’s Cielo X1 is their lightest and most responsive super shoe to date.
